Who we are:
aCerno Inc. is the only predictive targeting ad network. We help leading marketers create brand consideration and drive transactions based on targetable anonymous shopping and purchase behavior from more than 350 product manufacturers and multi-channel retailers. aCerno uses advanced analytics to describe who consumers are and predict what they’ll buy next.
Position:
Located in NYC and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Media Director will be responsible for growing the aCerno Ad Network by establishing new and strategic relationships with top tier publishers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of aCerno’s media relationships with portals, publishers,, exchanges and ad networks
- Develop incremental relationships with large scale publishers and media properties to expand the reach of the aCerno ad network
- Ensure that the aCerno ad network maximizes reach across multiple online formats including display, rich media, text, video, and mobile
- Work closely with internal analytics team to ensure appropriate yield is being generated from our media partnerships
- Analyze media performance, key stats and prepare performance summaries
- Monitor and advise on new trends in interactive media including reviewing sites, and informing senior managment about innovative and creative ad units and technologies
- Assist in market research for industry statistics, trends and competitive information
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in online media planning/buying with an interactive agency or media network
- Expert at negotiations and relationship management
- A complete knowledge of interactive marketing concepts and practices
- Strong organizational and managerial skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Strong background in direct marketing a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Compensation:
Base Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience and paid semi-monthly
Bonus: Bonus paid quarterly based on meeting client and company goals.
Stock Options: Will be awarded subject to candidate qualifications and the rules and regulations outlined in the company stock option plan. The options will vest over 4 years with a one-year cliff and monthly vesting thereafter.
