Tom Sperry
President, Chief Executive Officer
& Chief Privacy Officer


Tom has spent 25 years in direct, database and online marketing. Prior to co-founding aCerno, he held senior positions at aQuantive, Inc. (General Manager of Avenue A and President of Atlas), and was part of the executive team that took the company public. Before aQuantive, Tom owned several advertising agencies, the most recent of which was acquired by Foote, Cone & Belding, a True North agency. As a result of the sale, he became Managing Director of Bozell Worldwide where he focused on international business development.

Tom is on the board of the Network Advertising Initiative, an industry organization committed to responsible data management practices and standards, and is a past Chairman of the IAB Associate Board.

Dave Hinton
Chief Operating Officer

Dave spent more than 15 years engaged in data-driven and online marketing practices prior to co-founding aCerno. Among the senior management positions he held at Microsoft, Dave had global oversight of revenue strategy and yield management at MSN. He also managed database marketing efforts for Microsoft's Windows and Office products. Additionally, Dave held several senior database and direct marketing positions at AT&T Wireless and Foote, Cone & Belding.


Peter Kools
Chief Technology Officer

A co-founder of aCerno, Peter has over 25 years of experience delivering high volume, performance-sensitive Internet solutions in ad serving, loyalty marketing and e-commerce. His background in relational databases, Web application systems, and data integration provide the foundation for aCerno's technical success. Before joining aCerno, Peter ran Kools Consulting, an Internet application consultancy. Earlier, he was Chief Technology Officer of Schoolpop.com, VP Engineering at Focalink, Engineering Director at Sybase, and member of the technical staff at Hewlett-Packard.

Joseph Bossone
Chief Financial Officer

Joe has served as Chief Financial Officer of aCerno since its inception and of I-Behavior since December 2002, after serving as I-Behavior's Director of Finance/Controller since April 2000. Prior to I-Behavior, he served as Financial Controller at Madison Direct Marketing, Ltd., a privately held co-operative direct mail marketing services company. Before Madison Direct Marketing, Joe spent five years with Price Waterhouse LLP (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP), where he most recently was a senior auditor within the audit and business advisory services practice.


Bennett Zucker
Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Bennett has been involved with interactive media and technology since the early 1990s, following a successful career in print publishing with such companies as McGraw-Hill and Rodale. Prior to aCerno, Bennett was Vice President & General Manager of the Publisher Media Exchange at Right Media, acquired by Yahoo! during his tenure. Earlier, he served as Vice President of Customer Success and Vice President of Global Affiliate & Technology Sales for behavioral targeting ad network TACODA, now part of AOL. Bennett blogs on the industry at MediaTechBusiness.com, is a contributor to iMediaConnection, MediaPost and other publications, and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.

Matthew Karasick
Vice President, Strategy & Operations

Matthew has spent the last 10 years focused on applying data and technology to make marketing work better. Prior to joining aCerno, Matthew was Product Director at Trilogy where he was responsible for innovation in the field of analytics-driven marketing products for the Automotive & Consumer Electronics industries. Earlier, Matthew held positions at DoubleClick in Product Management, Business Development & Analytics.
